Sales and Marketing Intern

Location: Westminster, London

 We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic intern who is seeking valuable experience in Sales and Marketing. Akoni are an exciting financial technology (FinTech) start-up who have recently been recognised as one of the top 100 FinTech Influencers for 2018 and as a top 10 UK FinTech by Forbes. The successful candidate will be helping us to disrupt the current banking landscape and will receive fantastic hands on exposure to (amongst other things):

  •       digital inbound marketing campaigns (including AdWords, LinkedIn & Facebook Business Manager)
  •       outbound email campaigns (using HubSpot)
  •       tracking, analysing and reporting across all marketing and web activity
  •       research into target markets and audiences
  •       forming contra partnerships with media, associations and social media influencers


This is an exciting time to be involved with Sales for Akoni. We have a unique offering that is simple to grasp and an easy business decision. Sales involvement will include:

  •       handling incoming sales leads from interested companies
  •       proactively approaching target companies and delivering the Akoni message
  •       recording all sales activity within Hubspot (CRM)
  •       helping to formulate our telesales strategy
  •       researching into decision makers at target companies and possible new sectors
